NDES Online ? ? Act Against NOW !

But these days NDES is in a critical situation, as we know you all love & care about NDES,

The situation is...

Now IET (Former TTI) is offering an Online Diploma, first they introduce it to Civil Engineering Field (Building & structural Engineering.) The Diploma they are going to award will be "Diploma in Building & Structural Engineering"
This will conduct by National Online Distance Education Service (NODES). This is the result of NODES and DEMP projects. Following are some of the important links regarding this matter,

This is two year Diploma & it was published in today's (04th January 2009) Lankadeepa news paper, advertisement is already attached here.

Here the bad situation is, still this is effecting to Civil Engineering only, but in future sometimes this will be a problem to the other fields also. And here also there are some problems in the recruitment qualifications.

For this "Diploma in Building and Structural Engineering" the syllabus contents (theoretical contents) are same as in NDES main syllabus. And also they are indirectly trying to say that this 2 years online course is equal to the NDES Building and Structural Engineering field.
